Elaine Cohen and Richard Hopkins founded the Oregon Wine Press magazine in 1984. Both actively promoted the wine industry in Oregon through publishing and involvement in organizations such as the Oregon Winegrowers Association, where Hopkins served as director and Cohen as executive secretary. Biography Ward Ritchie was born in 1905 in Los Angeles, and grew up in a series of residences in the Los Angeles and Pasadena areas. His father was in the pharmaceutical trade.
